Our Purpose

Edirne was the Ottoman capital for nearly a century and is home to the UNESCO-listed Selimiye Mosque and to Kırkpınar, inscribed on the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We built this site to share the city’s cultural riches with travellers in clear, accurate and current language.

Every page is written to give a direct answer in the opening paragraph, then deepen into history, visitor information and practical tips.
